Amanda Peura, CMT
Amanda Peura comes to us from Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she owned her own massage practice for 8 years. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Kinesiology, and then completed her massage therapy certification from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy in 2001. As a former dancer, Amanda has blended a unique combination of her passion for the creative arts and an interest in science into her own version of a therapeutic massage session. Her accreditations as a nationally certified massage therapist include Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Reiki Levels I and II, Level I Trager, Sports Massage, and Advanced Geriatric Massage. She is also certified in the State of Indiana to practice massage therapy. Amanda believes that her role as a “facilitator of healing” lends well to the philosophy that the body knows what it needs if given the appropriate information and space in which to heal. She will accommodate your needs on an individual basis, whether that be for a full body relaxation session, or a specified treatment session where your condition will be evaluated and addressed appropriately. She looks forward to working with you!
